Aurora police ask for help finding missing and at-risk woman

DENVER (KDVR) — The Aurora Police Department is asking the public for help finding a missing and at-risk woman.

Police say Damahja Willis was last seen at 1 a.m. Thursday in the 3800 block of S. Bahama Street. She is 20 years old, but police said she has a cognitive disability and functions at the level of a 12 or 13-year-old girl. Police believe she left on her own.

The Black and Missing Foundation Inc. reports that Willis is 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighs 147 pounds with shoulder-length hair and a tattoo on his right leg. Police shared a recent photo of her appearance, but the clothes she last wore are unknown.

A spokesperson for the Aurora Police Department told FOX31 they believe she took an Uber to the airport.

Anyone with information on his whereabouts is asked to call 911.
