Auburn Police are asking for help identifying an individual

AUBURN — Local authorities are asking for the public's help in identifying a person of interest in an ongoing investigation.

The Auburn Police Department released a statement acknowledging the poor quality of an image acquired.

Despite the low resolution, they hope someone will be able to recognize the individual.

“We know the quality of this photo is not great, but if you can help us identify this individual, we would appreciate hearing from you,” the department said in a brief appeal to the community.

Residents with information or who think they recognize the person depicted are encouraged to contact police.

The ministry has not released details about the circumstances of the case or why the individual is wanted.
