Attleboro man accused of fatally stabbing older brother to appear in court Monday – NBC Boston

A 51-year-old Massachusetts man accused of stabbing his brother to death on Memorial Day will be arraigned Monday on murder charges.

James McCormick, of Attleboro, was arrested May 27 after police responded to a home earlier that morning for a domestic dispute.

When they arrived, they found a man, identified as Richard McCormick, 47, of North Attleboro, suffering from stab wounds, police said.

He was transported to Sturdy Memorial Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, according to authorities.

James McCormick was scheduled to be arraigned on murder charges last Friday, but a medical incident forced the arraignment to be postponed. He is now scheduled to appear in Attleboro District Court on Monday. It was not immediately clear whether he had an attorney who could speak about the charges.
