Ashwatthama stuns with a futuristic weapon in hand?

With just three days left for the release of the much-awaited trailer of the upcoming sci-fi epic 'Kalki 2898 AD', the makers are leaving no stone unturned to increase the excitement surrounding the film.

Today, a new poster featuring megastar Amitabh Bachchan in his Ashwatthama avatar was unveiled on social media. The actor looks intriguing and ready for battle, holding his Astra and sporting a divine gem on his forehead. He was seen standing in the middle of a battlefield with fallen men on the ground, next to a life-size vehicle behind him.

Hinting that his wait is ending soon with the film's trailer releasing in three days, the caption read, “His wait is over…3 days before the trailer of #Kalki2898AD, releasing on June 10.” »

Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan's character as Ashwatthama was unveiled through a monumental screening at Nemawar, Narmada Ghat in Madhya Pradesh. The selection of Nemawar and Narmada Ghat for this occasion held great significance as Ashwatthama is believed to still roam the grounds of Narmada, leaving fans even more excited for the film and the actor's portrayal.

Featuring an all-star ensemble including Amitabh Bachchan, Kamal Haasan, Prabhas, Deepika Padukone and Disha Patani in pivotal roles, 'Kalki 2898 AD' is directed by Nag Ashwin and produced by Vyjayanthi Movies. A multilingual sci-fi show inspired by mythology set in the future, the film will hit screens on June 27, 2024.
