Ashanti Alert Issued for Missing Davie County Woman

DAVIE COUNTY — The NC Center for Missing Persons has issued an Ashanti Alert for a missing Davie County woman who may be crossing into Rowan County.

The woman is identified in the alert as Cynthia Roberson Gobble, 60, described as 5 feet 6 inches tall and 180 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes and wearing a pink short-sleeved shirt that reads ” Colorado.”

She is believed to be with Gregory Wayne Gobble, 59, described as 5 feet 10 inches tall and 180 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes, and a mustache and beard that fades to gray. Gregory Gobble might be wearing a baseball cap with “Colorado” on it and a white t-shirt.

The two men are believed to have been in a 1997 Ford F250 pickup truck with an NC plate number YV1974. They were last seen at a home in the 300 block of Country Lane in Davie County. The alert lists a home in High Rock Lake in Davidson County as a possible destination, which could take them through the western part of Rowan County.
