Arrests, DUIs, Summonses and Warrants Issued by the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office

LEONARDTOWN, Maryland – The St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office handled 1,350 calls for service, including 15 emergency petitions, from June 24 to June 30, 2024.

Calls for service include requests for police assistance from the public as well as self-initiated events by deputy sheriffs.

Maryland's Emergency Petition Act allows for the rapid assessment of individuals experiencing a mental health crisis that could result in harm to themselves or others and for them to be taken to an emergency facility to assess the need for immediate treatment.

ARRESTS:

06/30/24 – Jessie Rae Colburn, 37, no fixed address, by Deputy First Class Michael Rycyzyn for theft: $1,500 to less than $25,000 and related charges.

Driving under the influence of alcohol:

06/29/24 – Patrick O’Neal Johnson, age 56, of Waldorf, MD, by Deputy First Class Raymond Allebach for operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol, operating a vehicle under the influence of alcohol and related charges.

06/30/24 – Holly Nicole Rawlings, age 28, of Lexington Park, MD, by Deputy Julian Grant for Operating a Vehicle While Under the Influence of Alcohol, Operating a Vehicle While Under the Influence of Alcohol Per Se, Operating a Vehicle While Under the Influence of Alcohol, and Attempting to Operate a Vehicle While Under the Influence of Alcohol to the Present Unable to Drive Safely.

06/28/24 Kevin Jerome Chase, 54, of Lexington Park, MD, by Congressman Joseph Senatore for CDS: Possession – No Cannabis and CDS: Possession of Paraphernalia.

06/24/24 – Phyllis Jean Clark, age 58, of Lexington Park, MD, by Deputy Bradley Kirscht for CDS: Possession – No Cannabis.

06/24/24 – Dennis William Lewis, 62, of Mechanicsville, MD, by Congressman Joseph Senatore for threatening arson.

06/24/24 Derrin Roberto Perez-Perez, 25, of Lexington Park, MD, by Deputy Erik Fleenor for second-degree escape.

06/25/24 – Joseph Henry Payne, age 47, of Great MD, by Detective Edward Vogt for failure to register as a Level II offender (age 25).
