ATMORE, Ala. (WKRG) — A man has been arrested in connection with a double stabbing that happened at a tractor shop in April, according to the Atmore Police Department.

An APD Facebook post says Luke Still, 19, was arrested Wednesday in Atmore after being released from a medical center.

A previous release from APD said officers were called to Tractor Supply on Lindberg Avenue after receiving a report of two people stabbed.

LOCATION OF THE INCIDENT:

When they arrived on scene, officers found a man, now identified as Still, lying just inside the store “bleeding profusely,” according to the release. Employees helped officers apply a tourniquet to slow the bleeding.

A second man was found seriously injured in the parking lot and “bleeding profusely” before officers and citizens rendered him first aid, according to the release.

Officers found two men in the parking lot with blood on their clothing, but they were not injured and were arrested, according to the release.

The release states that officials said the two injured men were taken to Atmore Community Hospital and immediately flown to different trauma centers. The man found injured in the parking lot suffered a punctured lung, bruising to his eyes and cheeks and is currently paralyzed below the waist.

Investigators were able to view security camera footage and question the two injured men. Authorities said Still was arrested and charged with first-degree assault.
