Around 20 students of Telangana business school identified as drug buyers: TGANB

Twenty students of Symbiosis Institute of Business Management in Shadnagar have been identified as buying narcotics from peddlers, officials of the Telangana Anti-Narcotics Bureau (TGANB) said. The information came to light after the TGANB and Karkhana police arrested three drug peddlers and eight consumers in Hyderabad.

The arrested vendors have been identified as Mohammed Akram of Langer Houz, CS Pranay of Karkhana and Rohan Williams of West Marredpally. According to Sandeep Shandilya, director of TGANB, the apprehended vendors were part of a gang selling OG (Ocean Grown) variety of marijuana, regular marijuana and LSD.

The users were using apps like Snapchat to communicate on drug-related topics. The users have voluntarily admitted to consuming drugs and the authorities have gathered detailed information about the drug distribution network. This includes the identification of around 20 students from Symbiosis Institute of Business Management in Shadnagar, whose parents will be informed to ensure that their children receive proper de-addiction treatment, the official said.
