Army kidnaps woman, attacks students near Nablus |


Israeli forces on Wednesday kidnapped a Palestinian woman, arrested students, attacked a teacher and injured several Palestinians near the city of Nablus, in addition to invading numerous towns and villages in the Jenin governorate in the northern West Bank.

Media sources said Israeli troops invaded the towns and villages of Arraba, Kafr Ra'i and Fahma, northwest of Jenin, as well as the village of Jalboun, east of the city.

According to Montaser Sammour, director of the Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS) in Jenin, the occupying forces kidnapped Hala Suleiman Mohammad Mahmoud Sirisi36 years old, resident of Jenin governorate, while crossing the “Shavei Shomron” military checkpoint, northwest of Nablus.

Furthermore, in the afternoon, occupying forces chased down four Palestinian high school students and attacked them, as well as a teacher, in the village of Sarra, west of Nablus.

Media sources said Israeli troops chased four high school students into the school, storming the school with their weapons drawn.

According to Anan Shehadeh, the school principal, the soldiers detained all the teaching staff in one room, arrested and assaulted the four children, and assaulted a teacher who had filmed the soldier's actions.

Shehadeh added that the army then released the staff and students; no injuries were reported.

In the same vein, Israeli troops invaded the village of Madama, south of Nablus, in the morning, triggering protests among young local Palestinians.

Media sources indicated that a large military force invaded the village in numerous military vehicles and fired heavily with live ammunition and threw tear gas canisters at citizens and their homes, causing several people to flee. suffer from the toxic effects of inhaling tear gas.
