Armed men warned: several criminals identified as police launch a manhunt

Police Commissioner Dr Kevin Blake is warning criminals that the island's security forces have stepped up operations and will target individuals causing chaos across the country.

“We will not stand idly by while you wreak havoc and sow chaos. We have identified several individuals wanted for criminal offenses. Additionally, we have released a list of persons of interest who we believe may assist in our ongoing investigations.

For these people, we invite you to facilitate the process by going to a police station. You may be accompanied by a lawyer, a justice of the peace, a member of the clergy or even a friend. However, understand this: if you do not come to us, we will come for you,” warned the commissioner in a message published on the Twitter page of the Jamaica Constabulary Force social network.

Commissioner Blake said the police will ensure that criminals are brought to justice, as they seek to maintain law and order for the safety and security of citizens.

“To law-abiding citizens, we ask for your continued support and cooperation. Together, we can build a safer and more secure Jamaica,” the Commissioner promised.
