Ariana Grande Breaks Silence on Nickelodeon 'Quiet on Set' Allegations

Ariana Grande is finally speaking out about the disturbing allegations against his former employers at Nickelodeon… expressing support for the alleged victims who have spoken out.

The pop star appeared on Penn BadgleyWednesday's “Podcrushed,” where she looked back on her time as a child star on the network … and noted that she was devastated for her peers who shared their alarming experiences.

The singer – who first rose to fame with “Victorious” and “Sam & Cat” – remembers pushing the boundaries of humor on her shows… thinking it was cool at the time, but grimacing at this topic now.

She says… “And the insinuations… we were told, and also convinced, that this was the cool differentiation. And, I don't know, I think it all happened so quickly and now, thinking about it, some of the clips I look like are… damn, really?”

As Ari says…content that wasn't approved for the network still saw the light of day…as it surfaced on the show's website. And yes, it looks like she finds all this disgusting in 2024.

His contribution comes after the network exploded with a damaging documentary series, “Quiet On Set: The Dark Side Of Kids TV”… where Dan Schneider — the creator of Ariana's shows, among others — has been accused of misconduct, ranging from writing inappropriate jokes for minors to sexual harassment.

Dan has since apologizedbut denied sexualizing child actors in his shows… sue the producers docuseries for defamation, claiming they falsely portrayed him as a predator.

Although it seems Ariana's experience was very different from other Nick stars, she still says on-set environments need to be made safer for child performers. She says child actors should be required to undergo mandatory therapy sessions, among other provisions to protect them.

Sources close to Ariana also tell TMZ…even though Ariana's personal experience as a child actress wasn't the same as those who spoke out, AG sees things from a different perspective Today. She is devastated by the stories shared in the docuseries and materials and calls for more conversations about how to protect young professionals in the industry.

Ari's suggestions here don't just apply to child actors: She says these changes need to be made to any minor working in showbiz, period. Strong hold.
