Amber Portwood Shares Fears Over Her Fiancé's Disappearance

Amber Portwood is “scared” and “worried” about her missing fiancé.
'Teen Mom OG' star Gary Wayt's partner went missing earlier this week and the 34-year-old beauty – who met her partner on a dating app in 2023 – admitted his disappearance was a “huge affair”, particularly because there had been no disappearance. Nothing dramatic happened before his disappearance.
She said in a video shared on YouTube: “It's a huge deal, his parents, everyone is very worried. I'm worried.
“There was no big fight or anything like that, OK. He is currently missing.”
Amber told how Gary left the North Carolina house where they are staying without his phone, but was then spotted alone at Walgreens on Sunday (09.06.24), and although he took his keys and wallet, he didn't doesn't have a GPS in his car to find his way.
She said: “We are in the mountains. He has never ridden in the mountains. We are very scared at the moment.
She then added in tears: “No one has found him or heard from him yet. I try my best not to think the worst. I have not eaten [sic] in three days. I slept maybe an hour.
The TV star dismissed reports she and her fiancé had an “explosive argument” before her disappearance, as she apparently referenced earlier claims she attacked ex-boyfriend Andrew Glennon with a machete.
She said: “I am not what people have been saying about me all these years.
“I changed a long time ago, OK, you have to understand that. Please listen to what I say, I'm an honest person to you guys.
“We didn’t have any explosive fights. We are very much in love, this man asked me to be with him, this man then asked me to marry him.
“I did not touch this man in a horrible way. He doesn't touch me in a horrible way. We don't yell at each other… Please understand this, people change.
But the former '16+ Pregnant' star admitted that she and Gary had an “emotional” conversation, which she didn't provide specific details about, but explained that it came from the fact that “his parents were Vietnamese” and that he was who he is.
Amber – who has Leah, 15, with Gary Shirley and James, six with Andrew – asked fans to pray for her fiancé and described him as “the love of [her] life”.
She added: “We have a beautiful relationship. This is the first time in my life that I have a good man.
Bryson Town Police are investigating the disappearance of Gary, who was approximately 30 years old.
