The Amber Alert that was issued Tuesday evening for a 15-year-old girl outside of Iowa City has been canceled. The alert was issued around 7 p.m. and shortly after 8 p.m. the Iowa Department of Public Safety announced the alert had been canceled. and the teenager was found safe and sound. The missing teen is Ophelia Anne Barton, a 15-year-old white female, five feet tall and 80 pounds with brown hair and hazel eyes. She was last seen with suspect Lindsey Anne White, a white adult female, 5 feet 3 inches tall, 165 pounds, with brown hair and gray eyes. The suspect vehicle is a blue 2014 Jeep Compass with Iowa license plate LIU044. Barton was last seen wearing red shorts and a short-sleeved Disney shirt.
