Amarillo Fire responds to fire involving an RV, travel trailer and vehicle in North Amarillo

AMARILLO, Texas (KAMR/KCIT) — The Amarillo Fire Department released reports of an RV, travel trailer and vehicle on fire at 2002 N Hayes Street.

According to an AFD press release, at approximately 5:02 p.m. on May 25, Amarillo Fire was dispatched to a second fire alarm at the location of 2002 N Hayes Street.


Officials said when they arrived, a camper, trailer and vehicle were fully involved and threatening another structure. AFD added that residents at 2004 N Hayes were able to get out of their homes.

AFD said crews quickly extinguished the multiple fires and no injuries were reported.

The press release indicates that help from the Red Cross has been requested and that AFD teams remain on site to extinguish the hot spots.
