Allison Mack was arrested for her alleged involvement in a sex cult.

Friday, both Small city The actress and Keith Raniere have been charged with sex trafficking, sex trafficking conspiracy and forced labor conspiracy, the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of New York confirmed to Yahoo Entertainment. Raniere, founder of the NXIVM self-help group and alleged cult leader, was arrested last month.

Within NXIVM, there was allegedly a secret “sisterhood” called DOS, also known as the “Lord/Master of Obedient Fellows.” Mack, 35, was allegedly a DOS master who recruited and ordered slaves to have sex with Raniere, also known as “Vanguard.”

“As alleged in the indictment, Allison Mack recruited women to join what purported to be a female mentoring group that was actually created and led by Keith Raniere,” said United States Attorney Richard P. Donoghue in a statement. “The victims were then exploited, both sexually and for their work, for the benefit of the defendants. This Office and our law enforcement partners are committed to prosecuting predators who victimize others through sex trafficking and forced labor.

Yahoo contacted a representative for Mack, who had no comment. At Friday's arraignment in New York, one of his Defense attorneys entered a not guilty plea on his behalf and the judge ordered him detained.

The actress — who played Chloe Sullivan on the CW show from 2001 to 2011 — has frequently mentioned Raniere on her website and social media.

Mack's elder Small city co-star Kristin Kreuk was formerly a member of NXIVM.

However, Kreuk released a statement saying she had no idea about DOS.

Mack has a bail hearing scheduled for Monday. Raniere will be arraigned at a later date. The FBI is asking “anyone who may have been a victim” to reach out so they can continue to dismantle this “pyramid scheme.”
