Alleged victim accuses Oklahoma City police officer of kidnapping and rape

An Oklahoma City police officer was arrested and jailed Saturday on charges of rape, domestic violence and kidnapping.

Sergeant Ryan Len Stark was booked into the McClain County Jail at 12:43 p.m.

Online booking records show Stark also faces complaints of threatening an act of violence, using a firearm in the commission of a felony and disrupting, preventing or interrupting a phone call from 'emergency.

Online court records do not yet show formal charges filed. The Oklahoma City Police Department did not immediately respond to a request for comment Sunday.

KOCO-TV reported that Blanchard police were notified of a possible domestic assault Friday involving Stark and an alleged victim leaving a restaurant in a police vehicle.

According to the report, Stark became upset when the victim told him she did not want to go to his house.

He is accused of raping the victim at her home and denying her medical treatment.

In 2014, Stark was cleared of criminal charges following a fatal shooting that resulted in the death of his K-9 police dog.

Cleveland County Prosecutor Greg Mashburn found that Sgt. Ryan Stark was justified and proper under the law.

In the 2014 incident, Stark and other officers responded to a burglary at a business in southeast Oklahoma City. The suspect led police on a high-speed chase that ended with the suspect stabbing Stark's K-9 police dog, Kye.

Police say Stark attempted to separate the suspect from the dog before drawing his gun and fatally shooting him.

Kye died the next day from complications following surgery.
