Alison Hammond has shared her pain after This Morning co-star Michael Mosley was found dead after disappearing in Greece.

Following the news of his death, This Morning paid tribute to the star with a message shared on its official social media page. “We are all heartbroken to learn that Michael Mosley has passed away at the age of 67. His wife Clare paid tribute to her 'wonderful, funny, kind and brilliant husband',” they wrote.




“Everyone at This Morning is thinking of Clare, their four children and the rest of Michael’s family and friends at this extremely sad time.” Fellow ITV presenter Alison shared her anguish in the comments section and commented: “So sad for his family”, alongside a broken heart emoji.

Good Morning Britain star Kate Garraway wrote: “So sad – thinking of his family”, while Lisa Snowdon commented: “This is absolutely heartbreaking.” ITV posted: “Very sad news, our thoughts are with Michael's friends and family,” while one user added: “So, so sad, loved following him and listening to his amazing podcasts. My heart goes to his wife Claire and their children. How fragile life is.

On Sunday afternoon, police on the Greek island of Symi confirmed that the health guru's body had been found after he went missing. The presenter, known for his appearances on BBC Radio 4's This Morning and Just One Thing, was last seen in Symi where he was on holiday with his wife when he went for a walk alone on Wednesday at around 1.30pm.

Police launched a search after the presenter and columnist failed to return from his walk at 7:30 p.m. Local authorities searched for Dr Mosley, 67, for more than three days along his walking route along St Nicholas Beach after Clare reported him missing.

A body was found in Agia on Symi, and the remains were later officially identified. The Symi police chief confirmed that it was the body of Dr. Mosley. Petros Vassilakis said: “It’s him.” He said the body was identified by her personal belongings and clothing. The body will now be transported to Rhodes.

His wife confirmed his death in a heartbreaking statement, writing: “I'm not sure where to start. It's devastating to have lost Michael, my wonderful, funny, kind and brilliant husband. We had an incredibly lucky life We loved each other dearly and were so happy together. I am incredibly proud of our children and their resilience and support over the past few days.
