More help will arrive today for two wildfires in the Lower Yakima Valley that prompted evacuation notices Saturday.

The Beam Road Fire east of Zillah and north of Sunnyside is estimated at 10,000 acres, according to Yakima County Fire District 5.

The Camas Road Fire near Wapato is 100 acres. A house was lost, as well as vehicles, firefighters said.

They burn in grass and brush. The cause of both fires remains under investigation, according to a news release from the state fire marshal's office.
