  • Allie Shehorn, 35, was almost killed by her ex in her Los Angeles home on May 23
  • Her ex-boyfriend Nicholas Pasqual fled the scene and was arrested in Texas
  • Three days before the attack, Shehorn obtained a restraining order

The Los Angeles makeup artist stabbed more than 20 times by her boyfriend and left for dead was granted a temporary restraining order just three days before the attack, DailyMail.com can exclusively reveal.

In her application, Allie Shehorn, 35, claimed she suffered a series of shocking abuses, including being raped, strangled and beaten with a belt.

A few days later, on May 23, Shehorn was violently attacked in her own home, allegedly by actor Nick Pasqual, 34, who was arrested this week in Sierra Blanca, Texas, while trying to flee the border to Mexico.

Pasqual was charged Wednesday afternoon with attempted murder, first-degree home invasion and domestic violence, and will be extradited to Los Angeles. He faces life in prison if convicted.

The boyfriend, who most recently appeared as a minor character called Thresher in the 2023 film Rebel Moon, has previously attacked Shehorn on at least four occasions.

That's according to the makeup artist's request for a domestic violence restraining order obtained exclusively by DailyMail.com.

Actor Nick Pascal allegedly stabbed his girlfriend Allie Shehorn 20 times before fleeing to Texas. They are pictured at an ax throwing club where they went to celebrate his birthday last October.
Allie Shehorn, 35, a Hollywood makeup artist, was stabbed, apparently by Pasqual, who was later arrested in Texas while trying to cross the Mexican border.

According to documents filed on May 18, Pasqual hit her with a belt on January 29, kicked down several doors in their Sunland, Calif., home on March 6, and raped and strangled her on April 14.

The escalating abuse, which culminated in the horror of the May 23 stabbings, also included a violent incident on May 18 that prompted Shehorn to seek a restraining order.

According to the makeup artist, Pasqual got angry around 3 a.m. “and started yelling at me, which happens when he's under the influence.”

She continued: “He slapped me in the face and as I tried to run away down the hallway he grabbed my hair and pulled me back and I hit the floor, hitting the back of my head to the ground.”

Shehorn says she tried to hide in the bedroom of a friend called Christine White, 62, who shares the former couple's home.

Pasqual then allegedly tried to break down the door and, when she unlocked it, pushed against her, causing her to fall to the ground and hit her head again.

According to Shehorn, the incident left him with a concussion while Pasqual threatened White as she called 911.

Shehorn had complained to cops that she suffered a series of abuses at the hands of Pasqual, including being raped, strangled and beaten with a belt.
In her request for a restraining order, obtained by DailyMail.com, Shehorn claimed Pasqual had previously attacked her on at least four occasions.

LAPD booking records show Pasqual was arrested and charged with a crime at 10 a.m. that same day, but was released from jail at 3:23 that afternoon.

The request for a restraining order also includes a disturbing account of Pasqual's alleged rape on April 14 at an Airbnb.

On this occasion, Shehorn said the couple had been drinking the night before and began having sex early that morning.

She said Pasqual started hurting her, so she asked him to stop, only for the 34-year-old to continue and hold her by both wrists as she struggled to escape.

When she finally managed to get up, Pasqual unleashed an angry tirade, telling her that she wouldn't love him if she didn't allow him to have an orgasm.

Then, as she attempted to leave the room, Pasqual allegedly grabbed her by the throat and squeezed her, only releasing her when she threatened to scream and alert other people staying at the property.

Shehorn added: “He has been violent in the past, but never physically to me, except for two nights when he ripped off my clothes. [sic].'

DailyMail.com can also reveal that Pasqual – pictured in an episode of How I Met Your Mother in 2011 – has previous convictions, including for drink-driving in July 2013 and the following February.
Pasqual is an actor who has played numerous roles in television series, including NBC's Gone.

In the request, the special effects makeup artist also requested protection for White and the couple's white husky-mix dog, Riley.

A hearing on whether to make the temporary restraining order permanent was scheduled for June 11 in Pasadena while Pasqual was scheduled to appear in court on a felony charge in San Fernando on June 12.

DailyMail.com can also reveal that Pasqual has previous convictions, including a DUI in July 2013 and another the following February.

Pasqual will appear in court on a date yet to be determined once he is returned to Los Angeles and will be held on $1.075 million bail.

“My thoughts and sincere sympathies go out to the victim of this horrific incident,” said Los Angeles County District Attorney George Gascón.

“Our office, including our Office of Victim Services, is providing our support and resources as she embarks on the long and difficult journey of healing from the physical and emotional trauma inflicted on her.

“This heinous incident is a stark reminder of the dangers of domestic violence. We will ensure that the person responsible for this egregious act is held accountable for their actions.

Shehorn is recovering from the stabbing in hospital and White told local news outlet KTLA she was in “good spirits.”

White said she came home to find Shehorn surrounded by blood in her bedroom, which, she added, “wasn't a pretty sight.”

“This is not the kind of thing that should happen to anyone,” she continued. “You don’t think this will ever happen to you. »

A GoFundMe, set up to help Shehorn with her mounting medical bills, added in an update Monday that White “acted quickly when she discovered Allie was bleeding,” a decision that “saved her the life”.
