A Teenager Was Beaten To Death In Batu Due To His Duty

BATU – A number of children were beaten against the victim with the initials RK who was still a teenager. The victim, who was only 12 years old, reportedly died in the Batu town area of ​​East Java.

Batu Police Chief Deputy Chief Commissioner of Police Oskar Syamsuddin during a press conference at the Batu Police Headquarters, East Java on Saturday said that one of the perpetrators of beatings or a child in conflict with the law with the initials MA (13) felt offended. by the victim because he was asked to print school work in the evening.

“The suspect's motive for a child in conflict with the law with the initials MA was offended because the victim was asked to print a task at night,” he said as quoted by ANTARA, Saturday, May 31.

Oskar explained that offended by the victim's request, the Supreme Court invited a number of other children to abuse the victim.

According to the police chief, the persecution of RK's victims was carried out by the Supreme Court along with four other children with the initials AS (13 years old), MI (15 years old), KA (13 years old) and KB (13 years). The children are classmates and the friends play the victims.

“Wednesday (29/5), the victim was picked up by the train and then invited to the MA’s home,” he said.

After that, KA and MA took the victim to Cempaka Street, Pesanggrahan Village, Batu Subdistrict. At this location, a number of children were waiting and there was a knock at around 1:30 p.m. WIB.

“The acts of violence or abuse were committed by hitting the victim in turn,” he said.

After committing violence against the victims, KA and AS took the victim home. However, the victim was only escorted by the two children to a Public Service Station (SPBU) at Jalan Lahor, Batu Town.

Then, on Friday (31/5), victim RK complained of pain in the back of his head and nausea to his parents. At 07:00 WIB, the victim's parents took RK to Hasta Brata Hospital, Batu City and RK was pronounced dead at 10:00 WIB.

Based on the results of the victim's autopsy, the police chief continued, victim RK died from a crack on the left side of the head. The victim had bleeding and blood clots in his brain.

“According to the autopsy results, the victim died from a crack on the left side of the head, leading to bleeding and blood clots in the brain,” he said.

Five children in conflict with the law are charged with Article 80, paragraph 3, in conjunction with Article 76, letter C, of ​​Law number 17/2016 regarding the stipulation of government regulations in lieu of Law number 1 of 2016, regarding the second amendment to Law Number 1. 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection with a maximum sentence of 15 years.
