A non-fatal shooting hospitalized a 33-year-old man early Sunday morning.

MILWAUKEE — The Milwaukee Police Department is investigating the shooting of a 33-year-old victim who suffered a non-fatal gunshot wound and was transported to a hospital for treatment.

The victim was shot shortly after 3:30 a.m. in the 1900 block of W. Fiebrantz Avenue.

A suspect, also 33 years old, was arrested by MPD. The incident may be a case of domestic violence, according to an MPD news release.

The circumstances of the shooting remain under investigation.

The charges will be investigated by the Milwaukee County District Attorney's Office.
