A new Residence Inn by Marriott hotel could open near Austin Landing in late 2024

The new hotel's amenities are aimed at business people and families, according to Danny Nagar, president of the Mason-based Century Hotel Group.

These amenities will include kitchens in each room equipped with utensils, a “fairly large” living room and bedroom, and a guest bedroom, Nagar told this news outlet. The hotel will also feature an interior patio with fire pits for guests, a fitness center, free breakfast, a lobby for working or socializing and a pickleball court.

“Pickleball is becoming very popular, so we will have an activity court, which will have pickleball as well as basketball that guests can play and use,” Nagar said.

CHG chose to locate just west of the Austin Boulevard interchange because of its proximity to I-75 and I-675, which “provides a good location for those traveling to the either of these highways,” he said.

“The Austin (Boulevard) interchange is a great place,” Nagar said. “There are tons of businesses, restaurants and retail. We also have other hotels at this exit and they work well.

Miamisburg Development Director Chris Fine said hotels like Residence Inn by Marriott are not only important to people visiting the area, they are also needed and used by area businesses.

“Large employers like Yaskawa America and United Grinding bring hundreds of people to the area each year for sales and training,” Fine said. “Having new hotels conveniently located nearby is an advantage for these businesses. »

The hotel is just north of Austin Boulevard and just west of I-75, behind Miami Valley Hospital's emergency center and Yaskawa America facilities.
