A missing 19-year-old man was last seen Monday in Moorhead, authorities say

MOORHEAD, Minnesota — Moorhead authorities are asking for help locating a missing 19-year-old man from Hunter, North Dakota.

Arthur Lyman Wiebe has not been seen since leaving his family's store in the 4100 block of 34th Avenue South around 10 p.m. Monday, according to the Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension.

Authorities believe he may have tried to return home but was forced to seek shelter due to a storm. He is described as having “minimal life experience and a very limited social network.” Investigators believe he may have only a small amount of cash on him.

Moorhead police said Wiebe is 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighs 130 pounds. He has blond hair and blue eyes. He was last seen wearing a blue hooded sweatshirt, gray pants and dark shoes, the agency said. He was also wearing black Sketchers sneakers.

According to the BCA, Wiebe has neither a cell phone nor a vehicle.
