A Minor Drives a BMW in Kalyan Stunt; Cops Deliver Teenager and His Father, Arrest Youth

A video of a youth performing stunts while lying on the hood of a moving BMW in Kalyan region driven by a 17-year-old has gone viral. The police quickly responded to this video and arrested a 21-year-old who was wearing the hood, Subham Mitalia was arrested while the teenager and retired father who was a government official, was charged.

The events occurred on Saturday afternoon. The video shows the young man on the hood as the teenager, who does not have a driving license, drives the BMW in the busy Shivaji Chowk area of ​​Kalyan (west). Bystanders observed and recorded this dangerous act on their phones. The father was indicted for allowing his minor son to drive and the police sent him a formal notice. According to police, the teenager took inspiration from social media and convinced his father to buy a second-hand BMW worth around Rs 5 lakh. The car is registered in the father's name.

Senior inspector Suresh Gaud of Bazarpeth police station said as soon as the video went viral, they located the car, the youth on the hood and the minor behind the wheel. This incident follows a similar case in Pune where a minor, allegedly drunk, drove his father's Porsche and caused the death of two young technicians.
