A fugitive task force located and arrested a man in Birmingham; illegal narcotics, weapons seized

A man was located and arrested for an outstanding arrest warrant in Birmingham. The Birmingham Police Special Enforcement Division Crime Reduction Team and the U.S. Marshals Service Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force developed information that led them to a residence in the 1600 block of Fulton Avenue. SW on May 24. Law enforcement officers located Antwon Jones, 25, and arrested him without incident. BPD said Jones had a warrant for his arrest for domestic violence. Law enforcement located Antwon Jones, 25, and arrested him without incident.
