76 people arrested last week in Bowie County

The wet weather continues as we approach June, with a much better record after 3 solid weeks of over 90 arrests each week. Bowie County Sheriff's deputies arrested a total of 76 people last week, including 20 by the BCSO, and another 56 were brought and released by other law enforcement agencies to Bowie County.

This report is from the Bowie County Sheriff's Office and prepared by Bowie County Chief Deputy Robby McCarver. The report covers BCSO activity from May 27 to June 2. If you missed the previous report, here we go, May 20-26.

Missing children in Texas. No one wants to see those four words, but unfortunately, it happens. Texas children are going missing and last month, 29 Texas children went missing, including 11 boys who remain missing as of 4/22/24, according to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
