7 foreigners arrested in Seville with 14 kg of drugs and chemicals

Seven Chinese nationals were arrested for illegal drug trafficking committed in Phnom Penh, Sihanoukville and the territory of the Kingdom of Cambodia between the beginning of 2024 and June 3, 2024, offenses punishable under Articles 40 and 48 of the drug law. Control.

CHANG JUN YI, a 29-year-old Chinese man, was convicted of trafficking, storing and illegally using drugs in Sangkat 4, Sihanoukville, Preah Sihanouk Province, from early 2024 to May 29. 2024. Offenses punishable under Article 40(7)(4) and Article 45 of the Drug Control Act.

3-CHEN AN JUN alias AH SHAN or SAN GE, male, 38 years old, Chinese, accused of trafficking, storage and illegal use of drugs in Sangkat 4, Sihanoukville, Preah Sihanouk province in early 2024. Until May 31, 2024, these offenses are punishable under sections 48 and 45 of the Drug Control Act.

CHEN YAN, aka DA YAN, male, 44 years old, Chinese national, charged with trafficking, storing and illegal use of drugs in Sangkat 4, Sihanoukville, Preah Sihanouk province from early 2024 to May 31, 2024. Offenses punished under of Article 40, paragraph 5, paragraph 6 and Article 45 of the Drug Control Act.

6-LIU CHEN alias AH DONG, male, 33 years old, Chinese, charged with conspiracy to commit drug trafficking and illegal possession and use of drugs in Sangkat 4, Sihanoukville, Preah Sihanouk province. Sihanouk from the beginning of 2024 to May 29, 2024, offenses punishable under Article 29 of the Criminal Code and Article 40, paragraph 7, paragraph 4 and Article 45 of the Drug Control Law.

7-HSU YUNG, male, 25 years old, Chinese, charged with drug trafficking and illegal possession in Phnom Penh and the territory of the Kingdom of Cambodia in early 2024 until June 3. 2024 Offenses punishable under Article 48(6)(1) of the Drug Control Act.

After questioning the accused and examining the evidence, the investigating judge of the Sihanoukville provincial court decided to place the seven accused in pre-trial detention to continue the procedural information.
