The Ercolano Carabinieri arrested a 66-year-old man already known to law enforcement for illegal possession of weapons. A few hours earlier, her daughter had requested help from the carabinieri. The woman had been threatened by her own father after an argument over trivial reasons. The 66-year-old man did not stop at the words but brandished a weapon. The carabinieri, wearing bulletproof vests, went to the home of the man, who had a firearms license. Six pistols and 12 rifles, regularly declared, were seized as a precautionary measure, but the real trouble for the 66-year-old man began when the military found other materials: 11 pistols, some with the serial number archived , one modified and one with an inserted magazine with 5 rounds inside. Also seized were 882 ammunition of different calibers, 110 shotgun cartridges, 82 knives of different models and a crossbow. The man was transferred to prison.
