$5,000 reward for information on missing Plymouth man

PLYMOUTH – A $5,000 reward is being offered for information leading to the return of a missing Plymouth man who was last seen Tuesday,

Police and Rodney Riviello's children are asking for the public's help in locating the 69-year-old, who has suffered from memory and reasoning problems since he was last seen leaving the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital in Plymouth around 11:15 a.m. on June 18.

Riviello's children, Dan and Michelle, held a news conference with police officials the next day to publicize her disappearance. They said he was injured in a fall and went to the hospital for tests. His daughter said her father, who lives in the Manomet area of ​​Plymouth, had received a taxi voucher home but appeared to have become impatient waiting for the ride and left without his wallet or phone.

He may have been driven to the hospital by someone in a silver Nissan Armada. Hospital security footage shows someone wearing the same sneakers as Riviello getting into the car shortly after noon Tuesday. The police ask this driver to contact them.

HI's disappearance coincided with this week's heatwave, causing even more concern among her children.

The award notice states that in addition to Plymouth, Riviello has ties to Provincetown and Boxboro, as well as Clyde and Brooklyn, New York.
