50 Cent's liquor lawsuit leads to suicide threats from alleged conman

Michael Caruso, one of several people sued by 50 Cent in an alleged embezzlement scheme involving Beam Suntory, reportedly threatened to kill himself rather than face the legal fallout from the case. According to AllHipHopThe trouble began when one of the other defendants, Julious Grant, allegedly tried to extort Caruso. “Money (Michael Caruso’s nickname)…you and your partner got fat at my expense…This is how I want it, you will pay me $600,000 by the end of the month. I will consider it severance…If you choose not to do it, I will let Fif know why he was paying such high margarine (sic)…You and your partner don’t want that kind of smoke from Fif,” Grant allegedly wrote to Caruso in a text message.

Another defendant, Mitchell Green, then decided to admit his wrongdoing and called Caruso and others to reveal the plan. Caruso in turn allegedly began to cry and threatened to kill himself if Green carried out his plan.

Black-owned businesses can't succeed if they don't have the $70 million that I had to invest in the business.

50 Cents speaks out
