$325,000 bond set for man accused of stabbing 2, killing 1 in northern Harris County

The man accused of stabbing a man and woman in northern Harris County last week is being held behind bars on $325,000 bail.

Rafielle Andrews, 40, was charged with murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon after investigators said he flagged down a man and a woman and then stabbed them both.

The woman was able to escape with her injuries, but the man collapsed in his driveway after returning home and died.

At the scene, police said they were unable to calm Andrew down, but were able to subdue him and arrest him without further violence.

Authorities believe Andrews has a history of mental illness and records confirm his criminal history spans more than two decades.

Andrews has been charged with several violent crimes dating back to 1999, including robbery, assault causing bodily injury and injury to a child under 15 years old.

If Andrew posts bond, he will be placed under house arrest for 24 hours, according to court records.
