3,000 fentanyl pills seized in alleged transportation network

WICHITA FALLS (KFDX/KJTL) — An investigation involving an informant and surveillance from the Wichita County Prosecutor's Drug Enforcement Division has led to four arrests in what authorities say was an operation transporting large quantities of fentanyl to Wichita Falls.

The investigation began in May after officers received information that four people were traveling to the Metroplex to deliver fentanyl to Wichita Falls.

The four suspects are David Everett, who organized the trips according to statements from other suspects; his girlfriend, Adrianna Garcia; Miranda Sivrais; and Sivrais’ daughter, Elisa Trillo.

Officers say they placed the car they were in under surveillance on Wednesday, June 5. They left Wichita Falls and drove to Arlington, where they made a short stop before returning to Wichita Falls.

Police stopped the car as it entered the Sun Valley Apartments on Central Freeway. Officers say a passenger, Everett, got out, ran and was caught after a brief chase.

Officers said they found three large bags containing 304 grams of counterfeit Percocet pills laced with fentanyl during the search of the car, which amounts to approximately 3,000 pills. A .40 caliber handgun was also found.

Police say the three women told them they made frequent trips arranged by Everett to the Metroplex to pick up fentanyl and were paid with fentanyl pills.

Officers said Everett admitted to possessing a handgun, but denied any other involvement.
