3 men injured after being stabbed in Montreal

Three men in their twenties are hospitalized after being stabbed in the Saint-Léonard borough of Montreal.

According to the Montreal Police (SPVM), the three men showed up at the hospital at 11:15 p.m. on Sunday.

After speaking with the victims, police determined that they had been injured during a conflict near Jean-Talon and Abancourt streets.

“The three victims suffered serious injuries that are not life-threatening,” said Anthony Dorelas, spokesperson for the Montreal police. “The victims are two men aged 24 and a man aged 25.”

He adds that the circumstances surrounding the stabbing remain unknown and that an investigation is underway.

“[Investigators will] check if any surveillance cameras in the area have captured images,” Dorelas said.

There were no arrests.
