3 injured after shooting in St. Paul during graduation party

Three people were injured in a shooting in St. Paul Sunday evening during a graduation party.

According to St. Paul police, officers were called to the 1700 block of Rose Avenue East after a report of a shooting around 7:15 p.m.

At the scene, police found a woman who had been shot in the leg, a woman with a graze wound to her head and a man who had been shot in the stomach. All three are being treated at the regional hospital, with the extent of their injuries unknown.

Initial reports suggest a graduation party was taking place at a home in the 1700 block of Rose Avenue East when shots were fired from a black SUV driving by.

No arrests have been made as officers work to determine who was responsible and look for links to similar incidents in the past 24 hours. Police say it's unclear if there is a correlation at this time.
