Everyone is safe tonight after a house caught fire in Ankeny Wednesday afternoon. Crews were called around 1 p.m. to a home near Ashland Parkway. They saw smoke coming from the roof when they arrived. Investigators say no one was home at the time, but neighbors were able to rescue three dogs.
