3 dead, 2 injured in Elkridge shooting, police say

Howard County police are investigating an apparent murder and attempted suicide involving multiple victims at an Elkridge home. County police said officers were called around 10 p.m. Thursday to the 6900 block of Norwood Ferry after neighbors reported hearing gunshots. Police said the officers entered a home. on site and discovered the bodies of three women, two seriously injured men and an uninjured minor. The two men, one of whom is believed to be the shooter, were taken to the hospital with serious injuries, police said. Preliminarily, detectives believe everyone involved is related, but they have not publicly clarified how. No further information was immediately released. This report will be updated.
