3 California firefighters hospitalized after fire truck overturns

RICHVALE, Calif. — Three firefighters were injured Wednesday morning when their CAL FIRE engine crashed and overturned on Aguas Frias Road in the Richvale area of ​​Butte County.

Oroville police responded to the crash scene and found the fire truck off the road, according to a news release from the California Highway Patrol's Oroville office. The cause of the crash is under investigation.

The three Cal Fire firefighters were able to extricate themselves from the wreckage and were hospitalized with minor to moderate injuries, but their condition was “stable,” the CHP said in the statement.
