2 women stabbed in social media fight: Fresno PD | YourCentralValley.com

FRESNO. California (KSEE/KGPE) – Two women involved in a disagreement with a group of five other women had to be hospitalized after being stabbed Friday evening, Fresno police said.

Police were called to the area of ​​Sussex Way and Clark Street shortly after 10:30 p.m. for reports of a victim of a stabbing. They say they arrived to find not only the stabbing victim, but also a second.

According to police, the first victim, aged 18, was stabbed in the abdomen. The other, aged 19, was stabbed in the side of the head. Both were taken to hospital for treatment and their conditions are unknown.

Investigators say the two injured men had gotten into disagreements with the suspects over social media posts, and the situation turned physical when the victims challenged the group of other women to fight them.

Police say the suspects pulled out a crowbar and a knife during the disturbance and fled the scene in a silver sedan. They would be aged between 18 and 25.
