2 people killed, 7 people injured in Penn Hills shooting, police say – WPXI

PENN HILLS, Pa. — Police are investigating a shooting in Allegheny County that killed two people and injured seven others.

The Allegheny County Police Department said the shooting happened before 3 a.m. in the 3500 block of Laketon Road in Penn Hills.

First responders on scene found a man and woman dead inside Ballers Hookah Lounge and Cigar Bar.

Seven other people were also injured in the shooting, some were taken to hospitals by ambulance from the scene and others were transported to area hospitals. One of these victims is in critical condition, all the other victims have non-life-threatening injuries.

Police say the investigation so far by the homicide unit and detectives shows an “altercation” took place inside the bar and several people opened fire.
