2 people arrested after sheriff's deputies find numerous drugs in Murray home – KBSI Fox 23 Cape Girardeau News

MURRAY, Ky. (KBSI) – The Calloway County-Marshall County Drug Task Force arrested a Murray couple on numerous drug charges on June 11 around 9 a.m.

Detectives began a drug investigation at a home on Arbor Creek Drive.

They say they found approximately 30 grams of crystal methamphetamine, 18.5 grams of cocaine and crack cocaine, 14.9 grams of marijuana and more than $20,000 in cash, believed to be proceeds of illegal drug trafficking.

Detectives arrested Andre V. Chism and Rebecca S. Holmes after they said they found illegal drugs inside the home.

Andre V. Chism, 46, of Murray, faces charges of trafficking methamphetamine (greater than or equal to 2 grams), 2nd offense (class B felony), trafficking cocaine (greater than or equal to 4 grams), 2nd offense (class B felony), trafficking marijuana. 2nd Offense (Class D Felony) and Purchase/Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Rebecca S. Holmes, 29, of Murray, faces charges of Trafficking Methamphetamine (Greater than or Equal to 2 Grams), 1st Offense (Class C Felony), Trafficking in Cocaine (Greater than or Equal to 4 Grams) 1st misdemeanor (class C felony), trafficking marijuana. 1st Offense (Class D Felony) and Purchase/Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Chism has an extensive criminal history with numerous prior convictions for trafficking methamphetamine and cocaine.

Both Chism and Holmes are free on bail after being arrested on numerous drug charges stemming from a Marshall County investigation in October 2023.

Chism was on parole at the time of his arrest.

Both were arrested with the assistance of the Marshall County Sheriff's Office.
