2 people arrested after being caught burglarizing a residence: mobile police

MOBILE, Ala. (WKRG) — Two Mobile men were arrested after officers said they saw them burglarizing a residence.

According to the Mobile Police Department, officers arrested Antwaun Marquis Coleman, 40, and Darius Jamal Goldsmith, 30, on Thursday, June 13.

The arrests come after officers responded to a burglary around 10:13 a.m. June 13 in the 1500 block of Van Lee Circle.

LOCATION:

When officers arrived, they said they “observed two males burglarizing a residence.”

The two suspects, identified as Coleman and Goldsmith, were arrested and taken to the Metropolitan Jail, according to police.

Coleman was charged with possession of burglary tools, third-degree burglary and attempted escape. Goldsmith was charged with third-degree burglary and attempted escape, according to the Mobile County Sheriff's Office jail log.
