2 other young men arrested

(KRON) — Two more juveniles have been arrested in connection with an investigation into a man who was found dead from a gunshot wound in a parked car in Sunnyvale in April. Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety (DPS) officers responded to the initial incident shortly after midnight on April 30.

Upon arriving at the scene, in the 100 block of S. Bernardo Avenue, officers found a man inside his vehicle suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim was transported to hospital where he was pronounced dead.


Sunnyvale DPS officers arrested a juvenile in connection with the incident the following day, May 1.

This week, Sunnyvale DPS announced two more juveniles had been arrested. On Tuesday, a juvenile was arrested by DPS detectives and SWAT team members. He was arrested without incident and is currently in the Santa Clara County Juvenile Center.

On Thursday, a third juvenile was arrested by DPS detectives. He was arrested at the Santa Clara County Juvenile Center, where he was already in custody for an unrelated offense, police said.

The incident remains under investigation, law enforcement said.
