2 Cold Scorpio removed from GCW and DDT shows after stabbing incident

2 Cold Scorpio has been removed from several upcoming appearances in India, following his arrest for a stabbing incident earlier this week.

The former ECW star faces two criminal charges following the incident in Kansas City, Mo., on June 15, with a court date set for Scorpio – real name Charles Scaggs – at July.

Scorpio was originally announced for a series of shows for Game Changer Wrestling and DDT Pro Wrestling in Japan in August, but an announcement on DDT's official website noted how Scorpio was pulled from a show at Korakuen Hall on August 12 and two shows in Shinjuku. FACE on August 13 and 14.

The former ECW, WCW and WWE star claimed self-defense for his part in the incident, with the victim – who was stabbed multiple times – believed to have initiated the initial altercation . Although a probable cause statement was attached to the case, Scaggs was charged with one count of first-degree assault and one count of armed criminal action, both of which are felonies.

Scaggs posted bond and pleaded not guilty to the charges.
