2 Cold Scorpio arrested after stabbing man at gas station and claims self-defense

2 Cold Scorpio was arrested after his role in a stabbing incident at a Kansas City truck stop.

According to TMZ, 2 Cold Scorpio (Charles Scaggs) was arrested on June 15 after violently stabbing a man. The incident took place at a Love's Travel Stop in Kansas City, MO. Scaggs claimed he worked as a security guard and saw a man lighting his cigarette inside the building.

The incident escalated after the man, who told TMZ he did it, not turned on in the store, allegedly got angry at Scaggs and said, “What the fuck are you going to do?” Scaggs told authorities the man threatened him and tried to attack him outside, then pulled a knife from his pocket and stabbed him in self-defense. Scaggs claimed the altercation continued and he stabbed the man multiple times until they were separated.

The stabbing victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment. Local police said he was bleeding from his head, chest, buttocks, legs and abdomen. The man also lost consciousness several times while being transported to the hospital.

Scaggs, also known as Flash Funk during his in-ring career, was charged with two felonies. He was charged with one count of first-degree assault and one count of armed criminal action. Scaggs was released from prison and pleaded not guilty. He is due back in court next month.
