2 cars destroyed after fire in California

The Watsonville Fire Department said they put out two cars Wednesday that were completely engulfed in flames. A battalion chief told KSBW 8 they were called around 12:08 a.m. to the Home Depot parking lot. The fire broke out in one vehicle before spreading to the next vehicle. The battalion chief said the fire took about 8 minutes to extinguish. No injuries were reported. Both vehicles are likely totaled. Currently, the cause of the fire is under investigation. The driver of the vehicle told firefighters it could be due to electrical problems. Fire officials said the fire is not considered suspicious at this time.
