19 Cubans missing after suspected illegal departure from West Coast

Independent activist and journalist Marta Maria Ramirez revealed on Saturday via his Facebook wall that Peraza, one of the missing members of the group, had left his home in Cárdenas on May 14 to go to Havana to meet a man she had met online.

“On May 27, after days of unsuccessful attempts to contact her and after a known person saw her from afar on Ayestaran Street in Havana, walking with two young men, the family filed a complaint with the Cárdenas police,” she detailed.
