18-year-old woman fatally stabbed in Canarsie

An 18-year-old woman was fatally stabbed Wednesday in Canarsie, according to law enforcement.

The NYPD says the victim was discovered just before noon outside of 9712 Seaview Ave. with a chest injury. She was transported to hospital where she was pronounced dead.

News 12 spotted police outside Mikey's Restaurant and Lounge located on Seaview Ave.

Police have not yet identified the victim and no arrests have been made.
