16-year-old arrested after deadly shooting in Westwood in April

The Cincinnati Police Department arrested a 16-year-old man after a shooting in Westwood left one man dead. It happened on April 21 around 7:50 p.m. District Three officers said they responded to a report of an accident and a person shot. the 3300 block of Montana Avenue. Upon arrival, officers found a victim suffering from a gunshot wound. That victim, My'Kell McCoy, 21, died at the scene. On Thursday, the Cincinnati Police Department's homicide unit, with assistance from the Fugitive Apprehension Unit, arrested a 16-year-old man in connection with the fatal shooting. The investigation by the Cincinnati Police Department's Homicide Unit is ongoing. Anyone with information is asked to call the Homicide Unit at 513-352-3542.
