14 people arrested during Portland retail theft mission

The retail mission focused on the Cascade Station shopping center near the Portland Airport in partnership with retail partners.

PORTLAND, Ore. — Late last week, the Portland Police Bureau (PPB) conducted a retail theft mission focused on a Portland shopping center. The mission resulted in multiple arrests and warrant authorizations, including the arrest of a prolific shoplifter, according to PPB.

On May 24, Portland officers from Sector North, the K9 Unit and the Air Support Unit helped execute the mission, part of an ongoing effort to combat organized theft in retail stores in the metropolitan area.

Agents focused on the Cascade Station shopping center near the Portland airport, working with business partners. The mission resulted in the arrest of 14 people and the issuance of 16 arrest warrants, according to PPB.

A woman, Pamala R. McIntosh, 41, also known as Pamala Fleming-Parton, was arrested at the Old Navy store on six outstanding warrants. All for first, second and third degree theft in Multnomah, Clackamas and Washington counties – with nine pending theft cases.

Portland police say they partner with the Multnomah County Prosecutor's Office Retail Theft Task Force in these cases and that often the suspects tend to be involved in organized theft rings.

During the May 24 mission, this was the result: 14 arrests made, one felony charge, nine misdemeanor charges, eight felony arrest warrants, eight misdemeanor arrest warrants, two traffic stops, two cars towed , a car attempted to drive away from police and two citations issued. .
