12-year-old from Berwick, Maine, missing: public help sought

BERWICK, Maine — The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children announced it is asking for the public's help in locating missing 12-year-old Chase Buckner.

Chase disappeared from his home in Berwick, Maine, on June 10, according to the center. Chase is 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighs 118 pounds, and has brown eyes and black hair. Authorities believe Chase could stay in the local Berwick, Maine, area or travel to nearby towns in Maine or New Hampshire, according to the center.

Chase's mother, Jennie Fall, is deeply concerned for his safety and wants nothing more than to bring him home where he belongs, according to the center. “Chase, if you're scared right now, know that I love you no matter what. Please come home and we'll work it all out,” she said in a statement provided by the center.

In an effort to draw more attention to Chase's case, his poster is featured on Ring's Neighbors app as part of a partnership between NCMEC and Ring, according to NCMEC.

Anyone with information about Chase or his disappearance is asked to contact NCMEC at 1-800-THE-LOST (1-800-843-5678) or the Berwick Police Department at 1-207-698-1136.
